Objectives

To enable the students to acquire through systematic learning the knowledge and skills in various operational activities of business enterprises.
To enable the students to acquire the practical knowledge under the current business situation through effective case study modes offered with the curricula.
To provide an opportunity for suitably qualified graduates to pursue higher education in the fields of Accounting, Business Administration, Banking & Financial Sciences, and Marketing& Electronic Trade.
To promote scholarly and research activities in Accounting and other fields of Financial Sciences.

Teaching Methodology 

The college provides the students with a combination of both class room lectures and practical classes enabling them to acquire knowledge and skills in the relevant field of study. All the class rooms are equipped with teaching aids. Computer laboratories are used for practical classes. 

Study plan

The students are required to successfully complete 66 credit hours to be graduated in Diploma and 132 credit hours for bachelor’s degree in the relevant specializations. The students study various courses under college requirement, department requirement and specialization requirement for both diploma and bachelor’s degree programmes offered by the department of administrative and financial sciences. 




 

Language of instruction

Due to the importance of English language in Business Administration, Accounting, Banking & Financial Sciences and Marketing & E-Commerce, the medium of instruction is in English.

Students with the secondary education certificates (or equivalent) can join this major, according to the terms and conditions outlined in the College Admission Policy.
